HELLO EVERYONE!
The following teams have made it to the semi-finals.
In no particular order: "team name (captain)"

Congratulations to the six teams! Please also take note of the following.
- Semi-Finals will be held this Saturday, 2nd August 2008 @ sports hall.
- Teams are to report by 9.30am, latest 9.45am.
- Games will start from 10am sharp.
- Kindly leave a comment when you see this msg too =)

***3rd August 2008***
Dear teams, please take note of the following changes:
1. Catchers must
catch the ball with 2 hands and hold it for at least 3 seconds while standing on the chair for the score to count.
2. Only
2 defenders and 1 catcher are allowed into the semi-circle.
3. The ball will belong to the
defender if it falls behind the baseline, and to the
opponents if the ball falls out to the side.
4. The ball will only be tapped or catched when blocking/defending.
No Spiking is allowed.
The other
rules®ulations as follows still apply.
• Each match consists of two halves and a half time. (10min - 5min - 10min) (1st half - half time - 2nd Half)
• Should there be a tie, a 3rd round of Sudden Death will commence. First to score wins.
• 1 point will be awarded for every sucessfull catch.
• Substitutions can only be performed when the ball goes out-of-bounds or when a goal is scored. The referee must be informed of the substitution.
• The ball must not be deliberately bounced/dribbled.
• The player who catches the ball must not take more than 1 step after catching the ball. However, he/she may pivot on the landing foot thereafter.
• No watches/bracelets/jewelry/accesories/etc... are allowed on the playing field.
• Captain's Ball is a non-contact game and no rough play is allowed.
